Placing emphasis on 3D prototyping and renderings from the beginning of the project allows Dixie to create a dynamic team with builders and architects. She is able to collaborate on design features that can't be changed at the decorating stage. Preliminary design features allow for personalization and optimization that wouldn't ordinarily be considered. This may mean planning for gas lines for outdoor spaces down the road, or designing electrical wiring so light switches and outlet locations can be customized.
